Freeze dryer is suitable to the material of thermal instability. The instrument requires that the sample is solution, basically not including ethanol and other organic solvent, also containing acid, otherwise it easily causes damage to the instrument.

Simple operating procedures:

1.Sample firstly precools in low temperature,and optional methods are low temperature refrigerator placing or liquid nitrogen treatment to make the sample into solid form.Pay attention that the sample can't be more than a third of the volume of container.

2.Starting-up

Firstly check up whether all valves are closed in sample chamber(that is cant up against the small ostiole), opening the power main switch in the instrument left , then open refrigeration button on the instrument positive panel, and choose the means of "MAN", observing instrument's LCD panel, when freezing temperature is less than 40 ℃, continue to open the "VACUUM"button of vacuum pump , when vacuum degree falls into 0.12mbar   hang freeze-dried bottles.

3.Putting Samples

Firstly pad a semipermeable membrane paper between the glass connecting tube and the rubber plug ,linking frozen bottle with rubber plug, and connecting with the sample room.Switch valve to 180 ° (that's cant down to frozen bottle ), then deflate.Close the "VACUUM" button of vacuum pump , then close the "MAN" button of compressor  , finally shut off the power. Open the water valve,wipe dry after the end of freezing into frost , shut off the water valve.

Attentions:

1.Freeze-dried sample is water sample in general, try not to contain acid and organic solvent, otherwise, it will damage the vacuum pump, if it is difficult to solve, the user must apply to the center, and replacing vacuum oil after using it .

2.It is prohibited to use organic solvent in instrument, especially on the panel's organic glass surface .

3.Power outage or closing the cold button of compressor, must be have 3 ~ 5 minutes interval to start up again.

Instrument's maintenance

1.The surface of compressor fin should pay attention to keep clean, and can clean with dry cloth, dry brush.

2. Rubber ring usually doesn't use oil, but should keep no granular impurity.

3.Keep moderate environment temperature , too high or too low both lead to oil leak.

4.In the vacuum pump oil using process,the color from pale into yellow, brown, brown or black, replacing the new oil when it is brown, oil scale with ≤1/2 is advisable, and it needs change oil when finding suspended matter in oil window. The dirt on the mist separator above the pump is beyond 1/2,meaning it needs to put in oil.
